The iPad is a great tool for helping your kids learn. There are a lot of fun educational apps to help with reading, writing, math and just about anything they’ll be learning in school.
iWriteWords is fun way for your toddler, or preschooler to learn to write letters, numbers and spell easy words.
Your kid traces the uppercase, lowercase letters or the numbers using their fingers. To guide them along is a cute little crab. They must drag the crab along the numbered order to ensure they are writting the number or letter in the correct manner. So the understanding of numbers is a plus for this game.
If your child gets it right, they are given applause and a cheerful word of encouragement. If they get it wrong they hear a squeaky noise and they start over.
At the end the numbers, letters and words are sounded out for extra reinforcement.
Here is my video review of iWriteWords showing you just how simple, yet fun and educational this app really is.
iWriteWords is a cute little app for only $2.99 in the App Store. It is a universal app, so you won’t have to pay for it again to get it on your iOS devices.
I highly recommend you buy it for your young child. As I mentioned in my video, I’m amazed at the results I’ve seen with our 2-year-old.
Let me know what you think. And if there are any great kids apps you think I should take a look at, please let me know. Your suggestions are always appreciated.
