Slimmer iPad Mini With 3G Capabilities Will Be Produced In Brazil

by on July 7th, 2012

A new report by Japanese blog Macotakara is claiming trough its reliable Chinese sources that Apple’s much rumored smaller screen iPad a.k.a the iPad Mini, will be produced at Foxconn’s manufacturing plants in Brazil though its production tests for data collection have already been completed in China. The report further says that production phase of iPad Mini will begin during September of this year while the device will start shipping during the holiday season.

Below are a few more spicy details from the source:

This tablet seems to have 3G model, but not all current carrier might sale, some career name are not seen in list of resellers.

This source, who seems to look a prototype, told that new tablet (iPad mini?) had same hight with Nexus 7 and slight larger width. Even though front projection size is larger than rivals, thickness of that new tablet is considered to be thinner than current most thinnest tablet Kindle Fire, and to be similar with iPod touch (4th generation) by this source.

Not the feeling that made iPad small, the design of the feeling such as iPod nano (3rd generation) is adopted and seems to be considerably different visually.

Rumors of iPad Mini shipping in September alongside the next generation iPhone have previously been reported by DigiTimes.
