Microsoft to release iPad versions of some apps?

by on September 17th, 2010

There is a rumour going around that Microsoft is working on iPad native version of it applications.

Chances are that these will simply be the iPad version of its current iPhone applications:

  • Bing – Microsoft’s Bing search engine app (US Only app? I can’t find this one)
  • Seadragon Mobile – High-resolution image browser
  • Tag Reader  – app to get more information by reading special Microsoft multi-colored barcodes
  • Windows Live Messenger – Instant Messenger client
  • MSN Canada – the portal application

But could we hope for light versions of it’s Office suite?

Which Microsoft application would YOU like to see on the iPad?

I hope they port over Top 100s by Year to the iPad and enable it to run in the background. That app is pretty amazing, but it’s US only.
