Apple unveiled the next big iOS update i.e iOS 6, today at WWDC 2012 in San Francisco. We’ve already published a detailed round-up of some of the best features introduced in iOS 6 on iPhoneinCanada.ca while the first beta of iOS 6 has also gone live in the Apple’s developer center. Among the great new iOS 6 offerings, one is Siri for the new iPad (3rd gen). Yes, Apple has finally decided to officially bring Siri to the new iPad. Sadly, the original iPad and iPad 2 are not supported.
According to Apple:
Siri now understands more languages and works in more countries. So you can get more things done in more places around the world. And most exciting of all, with Siri on the new iPad, on more devices, too.*
*Siri will be available only on iPhone 4S and iPad (3rd generation) and requires Internet access.
We don’t have much details yet regarding Siri on the new iPad, like if it is any different in terms of appearance as compared to the iPhone 4S, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we try it out and notice anything new. If you’ve tried it already, don’t forget to share it with us too!
