Time To DJay On The iPad

by on December 2nd, 2010

For those who thought that the iPad’s large surface would make for a great digital turntable, it’s finally here!

The application djay was first released on the Mac and developer Algoriddim has just released its more hands-on version on the iPad.

Pulling the music from your iTunes library on your iPad, it will allow for high quality scratching with a low-latency turntable interface. With automix modes and automatic transitions, you can feel free to let you music library play through the djay app for a new way to experience your music.

Taking advantage of iOS 4.2, features have been tweaked for multitasking and backgrounding as well as seamless integration with AirPlay. There is also a live recording feature and beat per minute analysis with automatic tempo matching allowing for ease of use. Most of all, the app looks absolutely great and with its intuitive design, it makes for great fun.

The djay application for iPad is $19.99, available in the App Store.
