This $8 Million iPad 2 Is Made Up Of Dinosaur Bones, Diamonds & Solid Gold

by on November 1st, 2011

Yep, you read that correct! This insanely expensive iPad 2 is actually crafted with real dinosaur bones in addition to solid gold and studded diamonds. Stuart Hughes, the luxury custom gadgets designer from Liverpool has come up with yet another masterpiece for the world’s most elite rich called the iPad 2 Gold History Edition. The iPad 2′s back is made of solid gold, the Apple logo and the home button consist of 65 top class diamonds while the bezel has been crafted from the thing bone of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Wow!

As described by Engadget:

It’s got a solid gold backside, an Apple logo and home button crafted from a total of 65 flawless diamonds, plus a bezel crafted from Ammolite rock and slivers of thigh bone from a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Between all that ice and prehistoric bling, there won’t be a problem picking this iPad out of a lineup. What is a problem (for most of us, anyway) is the price: eight million dollars.

So, who’s getting one this Christmas? :P
