In a recent interview with ABC, President Barack Obama admitted to George Stephanopoulos he now reads a lot of newspapers on the web–in other words, on his iPad. When asked if he had an iPad, President Obama revealed the following:
“I’ve got an iPad…and Steve Jobs actually gave it to me, a little bit early. Yeah, it was cool. I got it directly from him.”
Yeah, that’s right. The President got his iPad directly from Steve Jobs, and early to boot. While you were sleeping outside in the cold overnight in the iPad 2 line up, the President was already enjoying his. Steve Jobs last had dinner at the White House in February along with other Silicon Valley industry leaders. It sure does help to know people in high places, eh?
