Rogers, Telus, and Bell LTE Networks to Support New iPad

by on March 7th, 2012

Apple today announced the ‘new iPad’, and during the keynote it was announced to have the much anticipated Retina Display, LTE networking, improved cameras, and the same battery life. The big announcement was that Canada was part of the March 16th launch, but more importantly the ‘Big 3′ networks  Rogers, Telus, and Bell had some love shown to them by Apple on the big stage.

The map of North America clearly showed that Rogers, Telus, and Bell will support the LTE bands of the new iPad. We’re pretty lucky in Canada to have the major carriers update their LTE bands so quickly here, so kudos to them.

We’ll have to wait to see what LTE iPad data plans will be announced. You can check out the 3G data plans announced last year from Rogers, Bell, and Telus.
