Original iPad to Receive Multitasking Gestures in iOS 5.0.1

by on November 7th, 2011

Apple last week released a note iOS 5 suffered from battery issues, and that an update would be released in a few weeks to address them. Also, shortly after iOS 5.0.1 beta was released to developers.

In the release notes, we’ve been told it notes the original iPad will receive Multitasking Gestures when iOS 5.0.1 is available. Currently, these Multitasking Gestures are exclusive to the iPad 2. In earlier betas the original iPad had access to multitasking gestures, however they were not enabled when iOS 5 GM was released.

So, original iPad users, stay tuned for iOS 5.0.1, due to be released in a few weeks.
