iPad to Have Universal Inbox?

by on March 23rd, 2010

In a rumored email from Steve Jobs, the iPad and future updates to the iPhone OS may include a universal inbox.

As a much requested feature in the iPhone/iPad OS, a universal inbox would allow combining all your work, personal, gmail, etc emails into one “inbox”, removing the need to constantly tap “back” to switch between inboxes. As ex-blackberry users know, this would be a welcoming feature.

Sure gotta give Jobs an “A” for being succinct in his email replies.

I disagree entirely! Thunderbird 3 has that feature and I turn it off as soon as I install Thunderbird in any of my computers. Ugh, hate it, hate it, hate it!

And knowing Apple… if they do this, it won't come with an option to turn it off!

    Arg.
