iPad FaceTime Caught On Video

by on February 8th, 2011

Today iPadDevice reports on being able to take the leaked iPad 2 FaceTime files found in latest iOS 4.3 SDK and through jailbreaking the first generation iPad, was able to install FaceTime onto the current generation iPad.

Since the FaceTime files are coming directly from the iOS 4.3 SDK, what you see in the video below could be the upcoming FaceTime interface due in the second-generation iPad.

As seen in the video, when a FaceTime call comes in, an iPad with FaceTime will send a notification to the lock screen or on top of the currently used app.

Also, it seems that the FaceTime controls will be on a floating window near the bottom of the iPad display. The camera preview box, seen in the top right corner with no preview because it is being used on a the first-generation iPad, is also movable like on the iPhone 4 and fourth-generation iPod touch.

What do you think?
