Recent iPad 3 reports from Digitimes noted two different models with upgraded cameras and possibly double the battery life. Even more interesting was prediction of these new iPads debuting next month at iWorld (formerly Macworld), a conference Apple no longer participates in.
Jim Dalrymple from The Loop has confirmed with his sources we won’t be seeing any new iPad 3 announcements anytime soon next month–this should end any speculation:
I checked with a number of my sources today and an iPad 3 is not planned for release at Macworld. In case you’re wondering, an iPad 3 won’t be released at CES either.
He also notes no Apple iTV announcements will come forth either, if you were hoping. As we head into the new year, expect iPad 3 rumours to become more frequent.
