We have been previously reporting that Apple will be dropping the price of iPad 2 with the launch of 3rd generation iPad and precisely that has been announced today. Just like the original iPad price drop after the iPad 2 launch, Apple has lowered the prices of earlier generation iPad models but this price reduction will have a much bigger impact in the market as compared to the original iPad.
