iBooks Update Allows Users To Organize Books & PDFs Into Collections

by on December 15th, 2010

Along with the recent iTunes 10.1.1 update, today Apple also updated iBooks to allow users to organize books and PDFs into collections.

For those not already using iBooks, the app is a great way to download and read books on iPad. The app further includes the iBookstore where users can download a variety of books and other published works.

The newest features added in the latest iBooks 1.2 are listed below:

  • Experience fully illustrated books, from children’s picture books to beautifully designed art books, available for download in the iBookstore.
  • Organize your books and PDFs into personal Collections. Swipe left or right to jump between Collections.
  • Print PDF documents and notes you’ve written in iBooks using AirPrint.
  • iBooks now fits more words per page by automatically hyphenating text, available only on iOS 4.2 or later.

You can download iBooks from the App Store for free.
