Earlier this morning, Apple began sending out confirmation emails to customers who had pre-ordered the Apple iPad for pick up this weekend. This was a great service provided by Apple to ensure that everyone knows where to go, what to do, and what they are getting (in case you forgot!).
Fast forward to a couple of hours later and Apple was spotted giving out some other news to iPad customers who pre-ordered and were having the device shipped to a mailing address.
This afternoon, Apple began sending out emails to customers who ordered expedited shipping, which is an extra paid service to ensure that the item that was ordered arrives faster than normal shipping. Well, Apple is issuing refunds for the expedited shipping to those customers because the iPad will not arrive any earlier than to those who did not pay for expedited shipping.

What a nice gesture! Way to go Apple!
