Did you buy new LTE iPad in Canada to use with Rogers, Telus, Bell (and now Virgin) and hoped to use it on U.S. LTE networks? Many weren’t sure what U.S. LTE network our iPads would work on, but according to The Verge, Apple has confirmed with them that international iPads will work on the AT&T LTE network:
iPads sold internationally will be able to connect to AT&Ts LTE network when in the US with the appropriate SIM and plan.
Why not Verizon? They use a different 700MHz band, which is why Apple created a separate iPad for their network, and also a separate iPhone as well.
All 3G/LTE iPads sold by Apple are factory unlocked, which we helped clarify last year.
