So, from watching the tutorials recently posted on the Apple website, Pages will open Microsoft Word documents and will export back to Word, however while Numbers and Keynote will open Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations respectively, you cannot export back to Excel or PowerPoint. Can anyone see this being a showstopper for those who were looking to use iWork as an option for editing spreadsheets and presentations on-the-go?

I'm keen to see how iWorks functions on the iPad. I'm particularly interested to play with the numbers app. If iWorks is well contrived, it could certainly make a strong argument for the iPad in the mobile professional market.

Again – we won't know until we have it in hand and can use the iPad for ourselves. No doubt we'll see lots of analysis in May, after the iPad actually arrives.

Nice web site but the flashing ads are so distracting that I spend as little time reading the articles as possible. They really are annoying.
