Apple Announces MobileMe Support For iPad

On Thursday afternoon, Apple announced MobileMe support for the upcoming Apple iPad. The service, for those who subscribe to it, is identical to how it works with the iPhone and iPod Touch. This also means that if you already have MobileMe, the iPad can easily be added using your existing subscription.

Through MobileMe, the iPad supports syncing for e-mail, calendars (iCal, Outlook), contacts (Address, Outlook), and Safari bookmarks:
