iSwifter, the Flash-for-iPad service that streams social games, has announced that iSwifter 4.1 will offer support for Google+ Games, on top of their existing Facebook Games support.
This is fantastic news for gamers that want to play Flash-based games on their iPad, but were unable to officially get around the iOS restrictions.
With the iSwifter update, this gives gamers access to a large library of Flash-based social games from Google+, such as Dragons of Atlantis and Zombie Lane, that will work on the iPad through the iSwifter app.
iSwifter’s technology runs Flash-based content through its cloud infrastructure, which is then streamed to the iPad. By using the cloud and streaming, this puts all of the work for playing Flash games on iSwifter’s servers and enables Flash games on the iPad, officially bypassing any Apple controls. Pretty neat!
With over 500,000 users of the app, there is clearly a popular demand for Flash-based games for iPad. iSwifter is available in the App Store for free. Check it out!
