When Apple announced the new iPad on Wednesday, they showed love for Rogers, Telus, and Bell as the three Canadian carriers to support LTE data plans for the new tablet. Well, now we can add a fourth to that as Virgin Mobile (owned by Bell) will start to offer LTE for its ‘members’ starting soon.
Today, Virgin Mobile launched a set of new flex data plans for tablets, including the iPad.
The four new plans are called “flex” because as you increase your data usage, the plan moves to the next tier with a new data amount. This is in contrast to plans that charge you a per MB overage fee for any data use above a specific allotment.
