There are a lot of different colouring apps in the App Store to chose from. But they’re basically all the same. So when Griffin announced it was working with Crayola on a new app and iMarker, I wanted to make sure I got it for my son.
He loves colouring, but on road trips, or when we’re out, it can be a hassle to carry around colouring books and crayons. So … Read More
Just a couple of years ago it would have cost you hundreds of dollars to buy a program capable of combining pictures with expert precision, or making detailed edits to photos. But not anymore.
For only $9.99 in the App Store, you can pick up Abode’s Photoshop Touch for your iPad 2.
It combines some of the best features found on the full Photoshop program for your Mac or … Read More
When Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone in 2007, he famously said …
Nobody wants a stylus. So let’s not use a stylus.
But over the years, we’ve seen, especially with the iPad, there are more than a few people who want to use a stylus. Whether you’re drawing, sketching or even taking notes, using one has its advantages.
iPad users are always looking for ways to protect their tablet. There’s no worse feeling than dropping your $500 investment. The sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach can feel like it lasts for an eternity while you quickly check your iPad for any damage.

Magician Simon Pierro has created an amazing Halloween edition of his unique iPad magic “blending his special brand of prestidigitation with carefully constructed digital wizardry”, as put into words by Mashable. According to the source, he spent 10 weeks putting together this video.
Pierro told Mashable:
“Luckily my iOS programmer Masashi Beheim again joined the … Read More
With a lot of talent and the iPad app “Brushes”, animator Shawn Harris used his iPad to hand sketch a music video to the song “Undivided” by Blush.
The sketch took a ton of effort and the whole video was sketched frame-by-frame on the iPad. 30 brush strokes created one second of animation and 7,000 brush strokes created the entire video. Amazing.
There is also a “making of” video showing some of … Read More
Looks like Apple has released a new iPad 2 ad.
Like the previous ad (We Believe), this video focuses on the emotional connection between the iPad and the user.
The ad is entitled “If you asked”. Check it out:
The iPad 2 is thinner compared to the original iPad, and part of this is due to the thickness of the glass being reduced by 27%. Other factors include thinner batteries and tapered edges in the iPad 2 design.
What’s remarkable is the iPad 2′s thinner glass is also much stronger compared to the original iPad, as seen in the following tests performed by iFixYouri. The iPad 2′s glass is … Read More
