iPhone users have been able to “jailbreak” their iPhones. In other words, allow a modified version of the iPhone OS firmware to be installed on their iPhone. Essentially this will open up a plethora of 3rd party applications that are prohibited from the App Store. Customizations and tweaks have been very popular amongst iPhone users.
