Relying on StatCounter data to calculate how much web traffic comes from the tablet market, Royal Pingdom‘s reports that the iPad accounts for nearly 88% of global tablet web traffic.
For global web traffic from desktops and tablets combined, the iPad currently accounts for 1.2%. It’s a small market share relative to desktops, but leads the way in the tablet space. Android, in comparison, currently makes up 0.15% global web traffic.
