Today, Apple released a second Gold Master (GM) build of iOS 4.2 for iPad.

iPad owners who installed the first iOS 4.2 GM were experiencing intermittent WiFi issues. This second GM seed has been released to patch the WiFi issues found in the first iOS 4.2 GM seed for
iPad.

The build is available in the iOS Developer Center under build number 8C134b. The previous iOS 4.2 build for iOS devices was 8C134.

Today, Apple released beta 2 of iOS 4.2 to developers. Along with the beta firmware release, Apple has also released iTunes 10.1 beta and a new version of the iOS SDK.
