Microsoft demonstrated the new “SmartGlass”application at this year’s E3 event in June, an app that links Xbox 360 gaming console to iOS and other mobile platforms, allowing users to remotely control an Xbox 360 connected TV display from touchscreen enabled devices. Previous update of the official My Xbox Live app for iOS brought this feature to the iPhone users and now, the support has been extended to the iPad as well with version 1.6 (via Engadget). The latest update also addresses numerous bug fixes.
From the official iTunes description:
Take your Xbox LIVE experience wherever you go with the My Xbox LIVE app. Track and compare your achievements, connect with your Xbox LIVE friends, and change up your 3D Avatar. Review all your recent great games you and your friends love to play and compare achievements with them. Jump into our games hub to learn about the latest LIVE games and apps.
