Popular social media firm LinkedIn has just launched its first iPad app, bringing a brand new look and feel to the social network. The company released its iPhone app last year and today, the same iOS app has been updated to a universal binary with support for iPad’s brilliant Retina display. Alongside iPad support, the app also introduces a new feature i.e a calendar widget on the left side of your home updates screen, which pulls in appointments from your iPad’s calendar and displays the LinkedIn profiles of the people you’re going to meet with.
