This site is called iPad IN CANADA. This app is not available outside the US…

  • Thank you for the reminder of the site’s name.

A US iTunes account is all you need, and readily available for those that hold one.

Something I noticed. As I’m starting any trailer on the new Trailers. It seems like it starts to play in Retinal HD quality and it auto pause 2-3 seconds in, load and then continue to play any trailer in a much lower quaility video.

What’s going on? I think it’s detecting I’m not in U.S. and all we get is low quality video in Canada. Very sad. Any work around?

How do you get a US iTunes account?

  • Funny you mentioned this, as I also noticed that restart of trailers. Try setting up a free VPN via hotspotshield.

  • I’ve figured it out. You need to let the HD trailer buffer first, then play it. If there isn’t enough of a buffer it will scale down to SD instead of HD.

You also will need an US IP address to be able to have this app in canada and after all that trouble you have issues using it because you are in Canada. So good point from lordeagle reminding you that the website is called ipadincanada, therefore maybe review apps that we can actually get in canada not the ones we dream of having 🙂 Just a thought.

  • The app works fine with a Canadian IP. All you need is a US iTunes account. 🙂
