Yesterday it was revealed the official Facebook for iPad app was hidden inside the iPhone app, via Canadian Marvin Bernal. It required a few steps on a jailbroken iPad, but soon there after Facebook disabled people from logging in.
A new tweak has emerged within Cydia, created by hacker chpwn, called FaceForward to let you use Facebook for iPad again. Here’s how to set it up:
1. Installed Facebook for iPhone from the App Store.
2. Install FaceForward from Cydia.
After that, login and you’ll be on Facebook for iPad again. FaceForward works by tricking the app into believing it’s an iPhone app when info is loading, according to @chpwn.
Let us know how FaceForward works for you. Thanks to @chpwn for this awesome tweak.
