A new report by Japanese blog Macotakara is claiming trough its reliable Chinese sources that Apple’s much rumored smaller screen iPad a.k.a the iPad Mini, will be produced at Foxconn’s manufacturing plants in Brazil though its production tests for data collection have already been completed in China. Following Bloomberg’s report from yesterday claiming that Apple has a smaller 7-8 inch screen iPad in the works that may be unveiled later this year, another report published today by The Wall Street Journal is claiming that Apple’s suppliers are already preparing for mass production of the device in September for its October release alongside the 6th generation iPhone a.k.a the iPhone 5.

In the ongoing lawsuit with Proview over the ‘iPad’ name, the Associated Press now reports Apple has agreed to pay the Chinese company $60 million dollars to settle the case, therefore preventing sales of the tablet in China:
