Apple’s WWDC 2011 is kicking off on Monday, and will preview what iOS 5 is all about. Steve Jobs will be hosting the keynote, so stay tuned for what should bring the iPad to another level.

A few weeks ago, iOS hacker i0n1c sent a tweet about an “elevator”. The tweet hinted at jailbreaking but no one could be sure. It quickly became believed that “elevat0r” would be the name of the next iPad 2 jailbreak tool.

This morning Apple released the official app for WWDC, giving users a mobile guide and on-the-go information to Apple’s annual conference.
Using the WWDC app, users can search the conference schedule, make event reservations, view floor diagrams, and create a custom schedule of the sessions, labs, and events.

Unbelievable. The question is would you sell your kidney for an iPad? At least one 17-year-old Chinese boy would, as the young man decided to sell his kidney for 20,000 yuan to fund an iPad purchase.

This afternoon, Apple updated GarageBand for iPad and iMovie for iOS devices.
GarageBand, now at version 1.0.1, received an update for AirPlay support and other forms of connectivity. The app also received updates for new file formats that may be imported and copy and paste capabilities.
