We’ve received word that Apple Stores have increased their purchase limits for the iPad 2 Smart Cover.
Previously, Apple had the following Smart Cover restrictions in place:
Customers purchasing an iPad 2
Two iPad Smart Covers per iPad transaction
Customers not purchasing an iPad 2
Two iPad Smart Covers per person
The new limit is five Smart Covers:
Customers purchasing an iPad 2
Five iPad Smart Covers per iPad transaction

More news from DigiTimes today. While Apple is likely to report their iPad 2 unit sales during their upcoming earnings conference call, DigiTimes reports that Apple may have shipped about 2.4 million to 2.6 million tablets in March.

When he got the iPad 1 in 2010, he showed up with it to the 2010 Grammy’s and even created a jacket with an inner-pocket to fit the iPad!

Today, Consumer Reports released their tablet ratings and the iPad 2 has been found to be the best tablet among the devices that were tested.

During a keynote session at Storage Networking World in Santa Clara, California today, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak revealed that tablets were the culmination of what Steve Jobs wanted to create at Apple from the beginning.
