This afternoon, Apple released a minor update to iTunes 10. The new iTunes is now version 10.2.2 and is available on a PC/Mac via Apple Software Update or from Apple’s website.

The new iTunes 10.2.2 update brings some bug fixes focused on iPad but no other major feature updates or enhancements.

We’ve received word that Apple Stores have now eliminated their purchase limits for the iPad 2 Smart Cover.
Previously, Apple had the following Smart Cover restrictions in place:
Customers purchasing an iPad 2
Five iPad Smart Covers per iPad transaction
Customers not purchasing an iPad 2
Five iPad Smart Covers per person

Toys R’ Us has confirmed plans via its USA website to carry the iPad 2 in-store only. The company has put up a brief information page detailing which US stores will carry the device.

Today, Apple released iOS 4.3.2 for iPad and the other iOS devices. Last week, the firmware was rumored to be released within the next two weeks and it seems that rumor was right on schedule.

Numbers posted by IDC research this week reveal that worldwide PC shipments fell 3.2% during the first quarter of 2011, as compared with Q1 of 2010.
The decline was much higher than what IDC had forecasted, which was 1.5% growth in worldwide PC shipments. Things were even worse in the US, where PC shipments were down 10% in Q1 2011.
