Apple Removes Liquid Contact Indicators For iPad 2

Earlier this year, Apple updated its warranty policy for iOS devices. The update essentially relaxed the company’s water damage policy for iOS devices, giving customers a better opportunity to exchange or repair devices.

With the iPad 2, Apple seems to be further supporting the policy change as no liquid contact indicators (LCIs) are present in the iPad 2, which are usually found in the headphone jack and dock connector. In other … Read More

What’s remarkable is the iPad 2′s thinner glass is also much stronger compared to the original iPad, as seen in the following tests performed by iFixYouri. The iPad 2′s glass is … Read More

When Canadian iPad 2 online sales launched early yesterday morning, within minutes the shipping time changed to 2-3 weeks. As the day went on, Canadian shipping time slipped to 3-4 weeks, which is where it is now.

Like in the USA, it appears Apple is having difficulty with demand. On the retail end of things, many Apple resellers sold out completely, as did Apple Stores, but we have reports that confirm … Read More

Apple: No iPad 2 Keyboard Dock, Use Soft Keyboard
