Update 2: Iris responded, and as some suspected it was for the SIM card, not the iPad 2.
Update 1: I’ve contacted Iris to see whether or not this is a SIM card or iPad 2.
As Apple Canada wraps up its iPad 2 launch weekend, the company has sold out of iPad 2 devices in almost every Apple Store Canada-wide.
To assist with inventory levels, and avoid long lines, Apple Canada has now enabled users to reserve an iPad 2 online for pick-up at their local Apple Store.
Customers may reserve an iPad after 9PM local time for pickup the next day at their favourite Apple Retail … Read More
With the iPad 2 launched in Canada, Bell has added a new prepaid data plan for iPad 3G users. This brings the total to four prepaid Bell data plans for iPad 3G users.

When Canadian iPad 2 online sales launched early yesterday morning, within minutes the shipping time changed to 2-3 weeks. As the day went on, Canadian shipping time slipped to 3-4 weeks, which is where it is now.
Like in the USA, it appears Apple is having difficulty with demand. On the retail end of things, many Apple resellers sold out completely, as did Apple Stores, but we have reports that confirm … Read More
The iPad 2 launches on Friday in Canada at 5pm (people are already in line). As most of you know, the new Smart Cover is a pure work of art. It protects the screen of the iPad, but what about the back? For long time followers of this blog and iPhoneinCanada.ca, you know that I have used ZAGG’s invisibleSHIELD on my products since my original … Read More
For the iPad 2 launch, Apple launched some Apple-branded accessories such as the Smart Cover, HDMI cable, and new Dock. For the original iPad, Apple launched a keyboard dock, which was not refreshed for the iPad 2.
Wondering what’s up, a 9to5Mac reader emailed Apple Senior Vice President of Marketing:
From what I’ve heard, the Apple keyboard dock is not made for the iPad 2. Is there an iPad 2 version that … Read More
