Looks like there’s been a new hack that will enable FaceTime on the iPad, as reported by 9to5Mac courtesy of the iFans forums. Currently, FaceTime is limited to the iPhone 4, and latest iPod touch. iPad 2 May Focus Heavily On 3G Models

Based on recent supplier checks, the second-generation iPad may depend heavily on 3G models. Concord Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo now understands that 3G iPads may represent approximately 62 percent of the five million next-generation iPad units in production for the initial launch batch.

iPad App Store Gets Search Filters, Previous Purchases Update

Today Apple updated the iPad App Store to feature previous purchases and new search filters.

Now when users browse the App Store from an iPad and search for an app, five filters will be available under the top main bar:

Effective this week, Virgin Mobile, subsidiary brand of Bell Mobility, has re-launched their Tablet Flexi-Data plans for iPad.

The new non-contract data offers are postpaid offers with flex data (activate by calling Virgin Mobile):

$20/month Flex Data: Up to 500MB (if data exceeds 500MB, the customer is automatically moved to $35/month)

$35/month Flex Data: 501MB  up to 5GB
