Today Apple announced that the App Store has reached an astonishing 300,000 apps!
For the iPad, of the 300,000 number, 40,000 is iPad exclusive with the remaining apps available for iPhone and iPod touch.
Apple also announced that the App Store is now available in 90 countries with 20 categories of applications such as games, business, news, sports, health, reference, travel, and weather.
Today, Apple updated its iWork for iPad productivity suite to version 1.3 to support iOS 4.2.
All three productivity apps now support multitasking, allowing users to switch away from the apps and have the apps latest state saved. The new iWork update also brings AirPrint, including page or slide range options, setting the number of copies, and duplex printing.
