Tonight Apple posted a new iPad ad on their website called “iPad is amazing”.
The new commercial showcases the new features of iOS 4.2 such as AirPlay, AirPrint, multitasking, and a selection of apps such as the official TED app.
Oddly enough, one of features that seems to be left out is Folders, as they make no appearance or mention during the ad.

The iPad is available in the USA at Target, Walmart, Sam’s Club, and more. In Canada, you can buy the iPad at any authorized Apple retailer. We just received a tip that starting next week, Walmart Canada will be selling the iPad. This will coincide with their stores going to extended 24 hour Christmas shopping hours.

One of the primary new features of iOS 4.2 is AirPlay, which is an amazing function that allows users to stream video, audio, and photos from an iOS device (iPad) to the new AppleTV (2010).
However like any new feature, AirPlay had a few limitations such as streaming through third-party apps and even Apple’s own Safari which was limited to audio-only.

Continuing to increase the expectation that at least a front-facing (and back-facing) camera will debut in the next iPad, DigiTimes is reporting that market rumors point to Taiwanese firm Largan Precision as having been selected to provide the camera lens for the next-generation device.
At this time however, Largan is refusing to comment on the rumors, making it difficult to track the claim.

With iOS 4.2, the new AirPrint feature allows printing from your iPad. However, right now it’s limited to a select few HP printers only. Expect Apple to expand this in the future. But as of right now, there’s no way to bypass it.

Update 1: Europeans have gotten access to this now. So far, people have had issues with the app crashing. We’ll have to wait and see for ourselves.
