Apple’s marketing team comes up with some pretty neat commercials. Just think of the Mac vs PC ads, “There’s an app for that” iPhone commercials, and more. Canadians have already started pre-ordering their iPads as of May 10th. The iPad’s official Canadian and limited International launch date is May 28th. Normally, iPads pre-ordered should arrive on the launch date. The Apple website has updated iPad shipping dates. It now shows June 7th as the updated delivery date for newly ordered iPads. Looks like the first batch has been sold out.

The team over at Fantastocrats recently sent me a demo of StudioMini XL for the iPad, an easy to use 16 track audio recording app with built-in drum loop selection. I’ve played with StudioMini XL for the better part of last night and overall I am amazed by the sound quality that this app produces.

Do you have WiFi issues with your iPad? Users have been reporting of connectivity issues. Personally, I haven’t had any problems with my WiFi. However, a couple people I know have had some issues but they were fixed when they tried new routers.

Well today I felt just like a kid again. I was finally able to order my iPad. I’m not sure exactly what time the Apple Store opened for pre-orders. I tried to pre-order at 12:01, 2:23, and 5:10 a.m. Eastern Standard time. I finally succeeded shortly after 7:00 this morning and I’m now waiting for what feels like Christmas morning – the opening of my first iPad!
